The big changes come on the interior with a redesigned center stack, upgraded climate controls, steering wheel controls, new matte gauges, and a back up camera and touch screen's standard across all trims.

The center stack is the biggest improvement for the new Impreza. There wasn't a lot wrong with the old one, it just looked dated compared to the competitors in the segment. The new dash UI and button layout is hands down the easiest to understand and maneuver compared to any other competitors we've tested. Touch screen's are standard from the 2.0i all the way to the 2.0i Sport Limited models as well.
The steering wheel controls have new buttons that are similar to the ones on the new Outback's and Legacy's. The buttons have a better feel with improved responsiveness and a more convenient layout.
The gauges of the 2015 have a black backing compared to the white of the previous generation. This gives improved visibility at night time and matches the elegance of the refresh better.
The premium feel transfers over even in the shifter. The old knob feel was fine, the stick itself appeared like a child's toy. While it served its purpose well, it was surrounded in plastic. The new stick has a nice black gloss base and is surrounded by leather.
Backup Camera's are now standard across all trim's. It's also worth noting that EyeSight is now available on the Limited models as well.
