Cell Phone Bans

Living in New England and don't know the cell phone laws? Below we have comprised a chart to know the laws. However, even though there are no bans in certain states yet, that does not mean it is a good idea to do it. These bans are being put into place for a reason. A text is NEVER that important that it can't wait. It is a message that is sent to someone so they may respond to it at their convenience. If it is that important, you or they should call to get an immediate response. If you must use a phone while in your vehicle, connect it via bluetooth or hands free device.

* - Some states are incorporating what is known as a "young driver's law." Which means drivers under the age of 18, this law actually applies.

** - Some states incorporate the ban on just drivers with learners permits and immediate license holders.
