'Avengers' director to film for new movie in Exeter

EXETER - A movie written by "The Avengers" Director Joss Whedon is scheduled to start filming Sunday in the downtown.

The film, "In Your Eyes," is a "metaphysical love story about two seemingly polar opposites deeply connected in ways neither could have ever imagined," according to a release from the N.H. Film and Television Office.

"Exeter is the starting point and they'll be moving across the state from there," said Matthew Newton, director of the New Hampshire Film & Television Office.

Local food coming to winter farmers market

EXETER - Seacoast Eat Local will be returning to Exeter High School on Saturday to host a winter farmers market, with over 40 local farmers and food vendors and products ranging from fresh shrimp from the Yankee Fisherman's Co-op to the cheese of Sandwich Creamery and Brookfard Farm.
